it really cut through the gunk in the ash catcher in a flash, cut most of the brown scum out of the bong. there was a stripe of brown residue left on the back side of the bong away from the entrance of the smoke. this is a tough spot to get to so. will have to find a narrow bottle type brush to go down the stem and bend enough to reach the area to be cleaned, I found it to cle3an faster than 420. and rinse away easier.
